Large Commercial Septic System

"We had projects that needed to get done in days not weeks. SWS visited my site and had a permit the next day. "We were given options for our septic system not just prices. We had the system designed to last. We were extremely pleased."

Geoflow Drip Irrigation can improve aesthetics when treatment is used

Drip Irrigation is a viable way to recycle your treated septic effluent. An effectively designed aerobic treatment unit can treat wastewater well enough to be disposed through small low pressure piping system or drip irrigation.                                 - Read More

By combining solid science and in-depth knowledge of regulatory considerations we can provide a unique and comprehensive perspective for our customers' wastewater needs.  Whether those needs are for an individual homeowner, new development, existing community, or for commercial applications we are prepared and eager to assist you in any way possible.

Allowing the SWS team to provide you with options for your on-site wastewater system will be the best investment for your future. We are committed to providing our customers with the care and knowledge they need to make the best decision.

We are experienced in low pressure "low dosing" distribution networks, alternative septic systems, drip irrigation systems, aerobic treatment unit designs, performance based treatment systems and can provide options for all of our clients.

We provide septic system inspections, soil evaluations, site inspections for your property. If your septic system is in failure SWS can troubleshoot your system to determine if the drainfield is clogged, collapsed, or damaged. SWS provides designs for conventional systems, trench systems, bed systems, rock aggregate designs, alternative drainfield products, drip irrigation systems, aerobic treatment units (ATU), and performance based treatment systems (PBTS). SWS understands that system design and functionality are very important to the consumer. Also, SWS understands that the design has to be cost effective.

SWS has experience in nutrient reducing systems. Nitrogen in Florida's waterways and springs can create detrimental effects to the receiving water bodies. When nitrogen reduction is a must please don't hesitate to call Southern Water and Soil. Engineered septic systems are our forte.

If you are in Florida and would like a consultation please don't hesitate to call SWS.

Septic System Tidbit:

Low Pressure Dosing Systems provide better treatment of the septic tank effluent. By allowing more molecules of effluent water to come into contact with oxygen. A more oxidized effluent allows the nitrogen in the septic system effluent to be broken down into nitrate and nitrogen gas. Plant uptake of the nitrogen rich effluent allows for the nitrogen to be assimilated into the plant for growth. Also, it allows the nitrogen to be given off as a gas into the atmosphere. Low pressure dosing systems provides a mechanism to evenly distribute wastewater across the entire area of the drainfield versus the very  beginning of the drainfield. This allows more oxygen to come into contact with effluent. Also, by using a pump you displace air in the trench system of the drainfield; therefore, when the water is percolated through the ground this allows fresh air (oxygen) to be pulled into the trench system. This allows the drainfield to breathe.
